This Privacy Policy describes how Everyday Glam Touch (ABN registered sole trader, referred to as "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from

1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Automatically Collected Information ("Device Information")

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including:

We may retain records of direct messages or testimonials shared with our permission.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the personal information we collect to:

• Process and fulfil your orders, including payment, shipping, and dispatch notifications

Shopify

Shipping and Fulfilment

To fulfil and dispatch your order, we share your name and delivery address with our nominated shipping carriers and postal services (e.g., Australia Post). Order fulfilment is supported internally by an authorised family member who has agreed to keep your information confidential and use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how customers use our Site. Google may collect Device Information on our behalf. You can read Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and opt out via https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. 

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or in response to a valid legal request such as a court order, subpoena, or regulatory obligation.

5. TARGETED ADVERTISING

We may use your Device Information to deliver targeted advertisements on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram (via Meta), as well as Google. These platforms use cookies and tracking pixels to show you relevant ads based on your browsing behaviour.

Your personal information is stored securely through Shopify's platform, which uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

While no online transmission is 100% secure, we are committed to maintaining appropriate data security practices and will notify you in the event of a data breach that is likely to cause you harm, in accordance with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme (Privacy Act 1988).

7. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION

We retain your Order Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law (for example, financial record-keeping obligations under Australian tax law). If you would like your information deleted, please contact us using the details below, and we will take reasonable steps to action your request.

Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.

8. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN PRIVACY LAW

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information (subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it)
• Complain about a breach of the APPs

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Site and products are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, our social media profiles or shipping partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

11. COOKIES AND DO NOT TRACK

14. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Everyday Glam Touch is an Australian business, and our primary obligations are governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. However, we welcome customers from around the world and are committed to handling all personal information with care and respect, regardless of where you are located.

By placing an order with us from outside Australia, you acknowledge that your personal information will be transferred to and processed in Australia, and through our third-party service providers (including Shopify) whose servers may be located in various countries, including the United States and Canada.

European Union and United Kingdom Customers — GDPR

If you are located in the European Union (EU) or the United Kingdom (UK), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or the UK GDPR may apply to how we handle your personal information. We process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — when you place an order, we process your information to fulfil that contract with you (e.g. shipping your order, sending your receipt)
• Legitimate interests — we may process device and analytics data to improve our Site and detect fraud, where this does not override your rights
• Consent — where you have opted in to receive marketing communications from us (e.g. our Glam Squad newsletter), we process your data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time

Please note: because Everyday Glam Touch is a small Australian business not actively targeting the EU/UK market, we are not currently required to appoint an EU or UK representative. However, we are committed to responding to any rights requests from EU and UK residents in good faith.

California Residents — CCPA

If you are a resident of California, USA, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These include the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.

Other International Residents

If you are located in another country with its own data protection laws, we will make reasonable efforts to comply with applicable requirements.
